Lapis Lazuli is a semi-precious gemstone, that comes from Afghanistan, Badakhshan province its mines have been in operation since 6000BC, Lapis Lazuli was a stone of royalty, only the upper class royal family of Egypt would wear this gemstone. Lapis was amongs the first stones to be used in jewelry due to its beauty and ability to take a high polish, ever since Lapis has been used in jewelry, art, handicraft, pigment, etc.
Our Lapis comes straight from the source in Afghanistan, and we can guarantee that there have been no dyes or colors added to our lapis.
